How to Make a Ton of Money in Your Business, My Tips for Business Success

So, you want to make a lot of money in your business? That is an admirable goal that anyone can pursue. Unfortunately, 99% of start-ups fail! In order for the odds to be in your favour (cue Hunger Games Soundtrack), you should make sure that you follow these principles.

The Past, Present And Future Of Global Money Transfer

First of all, don’t sweat the originality of your business idea. You should have an idea and stick with it. Having said that, the idea itself does not need to be entirely inventive. Take Kylie Cosmetics, for example. Kylie Jenner did not invent the cosmetics industry, but that did not stop her for utilizing it to become a billionaire.

Next up, you should make sure you have a solid business plan. Every dollar you raise and spend needs to be accounted for. How else would you be able to earn more than you spend? This is especially true of start-ups who have a tight budget. Accounting is key in any business and will help you reach your goal of being the next Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg or any other big name in business.

Finally, try to use great business solutions in your enterprise. What I mean by that is, for example, don’t just start a restaurant, start a franchise! Also, try to do more than just make any name for your business, aim to create a brand. There are great ways to turn any business into a success. All you have to do is the leg work.

There you have three tips to ensure business success. You already started on your journey by wanting to be the next big entrepreneur. All that’s missing is your successful business.

Why Accounting is the Language of Business

Have you ever wanted to join a board meeting and be able to understand what ROI (return on income) and NPV (net present value) mean? If so, then you might be interested in learning more about accounting (also known as the language of business). This discipline allows you to capture past financial information and present them in statements, budget and plan costs for business expenses, raise finance from reputable sources and invest those funds to generate a profit, etc. All of these features of accounting make it the language of business!

The most important thing about accounting is that you can raise a loan or invest your own money, account for every dollar invested/spent and generate a return for your financiers and yourself. You do not always have to generate outside investments; sometimes bootstrapping (or using your own funds) is enough to grow as a business.

Accounting is also important in your personal life. A lot of us have studied microeconomics and have learnt that households are entities that operate independently from public or other private entities. When you earn an income, spend money and save, all of this needs to be recorded so you can learn how to make better decisions and improve your present and future quality of life. You may realize that you have to start investing in your child’s future university education. Also, it’s possible that you can devise a saving plan that allows you to start paying a mortgage soon.

All in all, accounting is a very important discipline for business, corporate and personal needs. You need to be well-versed in this field if you are to be a successful entrepreneur, knowledgeable employee or even a responsible adult. You do not have to be a qualified chartered accountant, but learning the basics might aid you greatly in your lives.

Should you Go On a Vacation or Staycation?

Exploring the world and all it’s beauties or finding out more about what your country has to offer, what would you prefer? I think the answer depends entirely on a few factors, such as the economy, your travel history, your interests and how much you have saved. I will explore this question in detail in this post.

Why do we need a vacation? How often do you need a vacation? What are the benefits of vacations?Do vacations make you happier?

First of all, vacations are great ways to explore different cultures and learn things that you did not know before. The only issue is that they are expensive. In this time of Coronavirus impeding the global economy, you can’t just go to Bermuda and splash the cash as if times were booming! You may, however, have not travelled abroad a lot and want to see the world. That’s fair, and I hope you do. However, it’s imperative that you watch your wallet and are aware of how much you saved.

This leaves staycations. While the name sounds fun, there is arguably less to see in your own country than in the rest of the world. What’s important is that you realize the economic benefits of travelling within your national borders, at least in these trying economic times. You may not have enough saved for a vacation anyways, making a staycation a viable alternative

So, there you have the above blog post on choosing between vacation and staycations. Please be advised that whatever your choice, I hope you enjoy your travels after a long period of work.

Weight Loss Hacks/Tricks and Pitfalls

So, you want to lose weight. That is an admirable goal and that will likely result in success if you apply yourself. However, the reality is not always that simple. That is because there are a lot of dangerous, fad diets out there that might bring about initial results. However, they often result in gaining weight back once they fail and other, more serious health concerns. Don’t trust diets that tell you to cut out food groups, like carbs or fats, that you need. It is far more important to lose weight in a healthy manner, by setting realistic goals, maintaining a balanced, albeit reduced, diet and exercising.

Fad diets are the major pitfall of dieting, but what are some of the hacks/tricks? I feel that switching from white carbs to wholegrain versions really helps in losing weight. Also, cutting out all junk food is an obvious aid to your cause. Finally, increasing the tempo of your work-out until you are exercising moderately, for 150 minutes a week, or vigorously, for 75 minutes a week, is a great boost to weight loss. This beats a small amount of light exercise or, worse, a sedentary lifestyle.

I want to leave you with a few thoughts about weight loss. You should aim to lease about 1 kg, or 2.2 pounds, a week at most. That is a healthy amount of weight loss. Say you want to lose a great amount of weight, like 50 kilos. You might be bummed about this slow but steady approach, but I assure you that your health is worth it. Extreme dieting is not the answer to weight problems.

Anyways, that’s that for this blog post. I hope you found it enjoyable and that you like it and follow this blog.

Should You Start a Business or Get a Job?

This is an enduring question that may shape your life and the life of millions of other people. The question boils down to the following pressing decisions: financial decisions, passion decisions and life decisions. I, Mahmoud, will try and tackle the subject in a manner that hopefully proves useful to you.

First of all, let us analyze the prospect of getting a job. In this area of work and practice, one earns a salary and is free of the risk of owning and running a business. This provides great security and can be a good financial decision, for that reason. Furthermore, a lot of people find that they are passionate at doing a job like being a finance professional, project manager or software engineer. They are however alienated from the fruits of their labour and can be exploited by bosses. This leads to a less passion in work and could create a mundane life. That leaves life as a decision area to consider. The life of an employee is pretty stable; the downside being a potentially great amount of stress and the upside is more free time to spend with family.

The next subject is starting a business. This is a tricky financial decision as 99% of start-ups fail, but most of the wealthiest people in the world own a business. There is an inherent risk in makin the decision of starting a business that needs to be considered by all would-be business owners. Passion, however, is a great advantage of having your own business. You could do anything, with capital, and that means you could pursue your dream, such as starting shoe line, going into real estate or even having your own tech company. Finally, the life of a business owner can have varied amounts of stress. While starting a business and seeing it grow to maturity, life can be very stressful. Afterwards, however, life can become more free-sailing and your employees can take on the brunt of the work. The previous reality can result in more free time for the owner to spend with family.

So, there you have it. Those are the pros and cons of getting a job or starting a business. I hope you found this blog post useful. Please be advised that more thought will go into this question in practice, but this serves as a guiding post for anyone pondering these two alternatives. Hey, it has not been done that often, but you might be able to do both!

Why Any Review is a Good Review

So, I recently been getting more reviews. That should sound great to anyone, but I found myself not so happy with the lower reviews initially. Out of the four ratings I got, one was a five-star, another a three-star review and the remaining were one and two star reviews. I thought that the lower ratings would turn people away from my books, but, thankfully, I was wrong. My engagement and sales has only grown with the new ratings, high or low. I hope to see even more sales, which might come with my newly-obtained positive attitude.

I want for everyone to be happy with any review/rating they get. A low score does not mean you did not do well. Most strikingly, it could mean you have a large reading audience and it was not to the taste of a small group. Moreover, the low ratings are even better than their high counterparts, in the sense that you can learn something, about your writing, that helps you in the future. I found that view very useful, personally speaking.

In fact, a person said that one of my stories, Karen, the Misbehaved Girl, was too negative in the sense that (Spoiler alert), the ending was kind of depressing. I found that to useful, because that allowed me to think about the message I was sending, in my writing. I did not want to be a negative voice, so now I learned to tailor my stories, especially the ending, in line with a more positive outlook.

I hope you can all learn from my journey and use it in your own quest to being successful writers. Even if you are not a writer, but say a marketer, then you can learn from the good or bad reviews you get. All in all, a review is a sign that people are engaging with your work and who does not want some level of engagement with what they put out there. I leave you with my review, in the hope that it inspires you to bigger and greater things.
